"The path to your goal is both linear and..." View this post on Instagram The path to achieving anything has both a linear and a non linear side. During this time of year, no better example to use is weight loss. The physical movement and act of exercising is intellectual and logical. The more you go whether it be yoga, cycling, weight training, etc. the better you’ll become because it’s a linear progression. The opposite couldn’t be more true when it comes to the emotional and spiritual side of weight loss. If you mapped it out, it would look like a roller coaster ride. Some days you’ll feel like everything is clicking and the next week it could seem like the wheels are falling off. Understanding this concept will help you stay consistent. When you experience the low times, remember that they’re part of the journey. Have patience and stay present during the ride. Acknowledge and accept the lows, then adjust accordingly and get right back on track. Remember that one meal or week will never define your journey as much as 10 weeks and 100 meals will. I’d love to hear your thoughts, please comment below or send me a DM. I believe in you #namaste 🙏 A post shared by Kevin Ng Yoga + Mindfulness (@kevinngyoga) on Jan 13, 2020 at 7:57pm PST Kevin NgJanuary 13, 2020 Facebook0 Twitter Tumblr 0 Likes
