“In a world of cotton candy, strive to be an apple" View this post on Instagram ✌️ #mindfulnessmonday ✌️ ⠀ “In a world of cotton candy, strive to be an apple.” ⠀ What happens when you eat cotton candy? It disappears almost immediately when you bite into it and holds close to zero nutritional value. Now compare that to an apple; complex in flavors and rich in vitamins. This same analogy can be applied to you as a human and the people you choose surround yourself with. I strive to be an apple everyday, maintaining a solid for and holding value for others. It’s the opposite of cotton candy which looks big on the outside, but has zero substance on the inside. The same can be applied for the people you surround yourself with. The more cotton candy, the more disappointment you‘ll experience with their constant “I’m busy” and unresponsiveness. The more apples, the more you’ll surrounded yourself with people who CHOOSE to be a solid part of your life. In an world of cotton candy, strive to be an apple. I love you, I believe in you, and it’s good to be home 🙂 A post shared by Kevin Ng Yoga + Mindfulness (@kevinngyoga) on Feb 24, 2020 at 7:56pm PST Kevin NgFebruary 24, 2020 Facebook0 Twitter Tumblr 0 Likes
