"Quitting builds resilience" View this post on Instagram ✌️ #mindfulnessmonday ✌️ ⠀ “Quitting builds resilience” ⠀ Counterintuitive right? How can quitting build resilience? I’m a firm believer that If the desired outcome is something you want badly enough, they only time you’ll stop is if you’re physically or mentally exhausted. Good. So in other words, quitting is a sign that you are trying. No matter how many times you quit, as long as you keep coming back guess what...you’re building resiliency. This resiliency is the key to achieving anything new that you desire which is outside of your comfort zone. The idea to quit and the million reasons why will always remain present within our minds, you cannot suppress or change this. However, the likelihood that you will we will quite will only increase when we start to believe in those reasons. What prevents us from believing in those reasons? RESILIENCY. Another benefit in building resiliency is that increases your grit factor. I don’t care what it is, difficult is difficult. However, once your perspective is stretched and a new threshold is established, it can never revert back to its original form. If you want it bad enough, work till you can’t, then come back for more...I believe in you.
