"Problems"

✌️ #MindfulnessMonday✌️ “If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back." -Regina Brett ⠀ One of the quickest solutions to any problem is regaining perspective, and the quote above by Regina Brett does it brilliantly. When we perceive something to be a problem, we lose perspective. We become so engulfed in trying to come up with a solution that it eventually takes up all our energy. We put our blinders on and quickly forget how much worse it could be. So how do we regain the perspective that we have lost? ⠀ The first technique I want you to try is the brain on stage method or third person perspective. I want you to imagine yourself outside of yourself as if you were consoling a friend or family member. What kind of analysis or advice could you give when you’re not at the center of the perceived problem? What you’ll come to realize is that things are not nearly as bad as they seem and that there are some things that you may have amplified in your thoughts. This is you slowly regaining your perspective. ⠀ The second thing I want you to remember is this golden rule. The universe will never give you a problem that you cannot solve. When you have this underlying belief that every occurrence in your life is necessary for the development of your consciousness, you become more receptive to the situation. When you are in a state of receptiveness, I can garuntee you a “solution” to your problem will reveal itself faster. How do you know this experience is necessary? It’s because it’s the one you are having right now. ⠀ If you are currently going through something or the next time you have a problem, I want you to revisit this post and remember the two things shared above. Bottom line, things could always be a lot worse and there is always something to be grateful for. There are no mistakes. I believe in you, it’s time you start believing in yourself. I love you, #namaste 🙏
